Upstand Board for Parapet Walls

U-Spec Upstand Board is a laminate of rigid, high performance extruded polystyrene (XPS) laminated to a weather resistant facing board.

Application

U-Spec Upstand Board is designed for the insulation of parapet walls and other vertical upstands in flat roof construction. It Is intended to reduce heat loss from within the building through “cold bridging” via vertical elements such as parapet walls which, because of their integral connection with the general building envelope, would otherwise provide a route for heat loss conduction and condensation at “cold spots” within the building.

Dimensions

Typically 1200mm x 600mm, and with a laminate thickness of 56mm (50mm XPS and 6mm facing board. Other dimensions available on request.
